Outstanding output – from OSRAM halogen lamps

Halogen lamps from OSRAM provide brilliant bright light that is as good as natural light for rendering colors. With a color rendering index (Ra) of 100, the lamps make colors look as vibrant and natural as on a bright sunny day. Our halogen lamps provide constant luminous flux and constant luminous intensity throughout their lives. These values are up to 100% higher than those of ordinary light bulbs. The DECOSTAR ENERGY SAVER lamp for example has a life of up to 5000 hours.

With our halogen lamps anyone, you or your customers, can do something to save on CO₂ emissions and therefore counteract the greenhouse effect. Thanks to their better luminous efficacy, halogen lamps are superior to ordinary light bulbs anyway. With the ENERGY SAVER versions, which are available for almost all of our halogen product lines, OSRAM can now go one better. Special innovative infrared coating technology on the bulb reflects heat back to the filament.

CThanks to better luminous efficacy it is possible for example to replace a standard 50 W dichroic reflector lamp with a 35 W ENERGY SAVER. The cost savings are enormous, particularly in commercial buildings – around 6000 euros per year in a store with 300 lamps.
